We are happy to announce the start of the summer season on Leisure Mountain Ahorn this Saturday, 27 June 2020. With its water oases, four viewing platforms, an exciting audio adventure drama, and much more, Mount Ahorn is a true family paradise and should definitely be a part of any holiday in the Zillertal Valley!

LEISURE MOUNTAIN AHORN

To make the most of the day, early birds can take the Hiker's Gondola daily until September, from 7:30 a.m., up to 2,000 meters above sea level to start a hike full of incredible views.

 

The Leisure Trail Ahorn, which is suitable for baby buggies, has four viewing platforms and lots of opportunities to rest and relax, while the Filzenalm Alpine Farming Trail provides you with some insight on how the Filzenalm hut is managed. 

 

Young and old alike can take a timeout at Lake Ahornsee and Ahornbachl Stream, the perfect water oases for hot summer days. 

 

If you love exciting crime stories and like to solve tricky riddles, the interactive audio adventure called "The poacher of the Ahorn" is just right for you! (German only!)

SUMMIT EXPERIENCE FILZENKOGEL

All summiteers who want to add their names to the summit register should try the Hiking Trail Filzenkogel, which provides breathtaking views of the Zillertal Alps. The round trip takes about 2 hours.

SUNRISE GONDOLA

Every Thursday from 2 July 2020, early birds can take the gondola to the Ahorn Plateau between 5:00 and 6:30 a.m. to watch the sunrise from the Zillertal Viewing Platform while enjoying a hot cup of tea. There’s no better way to start the day!

PROTECTIVE MEASURES AGAINST COVID-19
- Stay safe on the mountain -

We want to make sure that our guests and employees have a good time on the mountain while keeping as safe as possible. This is why we take protective measures against Covid-19 seriously and ask you to follow our rules on hygiene:

  • Wear a protective mask while riding in the gondolas.
  • Please stay at home if you show any signs of illness.
  • Avoid hugging and shaking hands.
  • Do not touch your face unless your hands are clean.
  • Sneeze or cough into the crease of your elbow or a tissue.
  • Wash your hands regularly with soap.
