Skiers can now look forward to even more comfort and fun. From December 2018, Action Mountain Penken is adding yet another highlight: the new Möslbahn.

From mid-June you have the chance to admire the Birds of Prey up close and in action in an impressive natural stage at an altitude of 2.000 metres - all set against the magnificent backdrop of the Zillertal Alps.

Suitable for pushchairs, the Leisure Trail Ahorn runs across the entire Ahorn Plateau and offers something for all the senses - but is especially striking in visual terms. In addition to the viewing platforms Zillertal, Stilluptal and Eagle's view the path leads past the Ahornsee and Ahornbachl with varied play zones and water oases.

Between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m., the Ahornbahn, Austria’s largest gondola, takes early birds up to the Ahorn Plateau, where they can enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the Zillertal Viewing Platform over a hearty breakfast – the perfect meal before you tackle all the adventures that Ahorn Mountain has in store for you. 

There are plenty of hiking and mountaineering tours in Mayrhofen. You will find both easy and challenging hikes that provide incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Numerous huts and mountain restaurants invite you to take a break, grab a drink and enjoy some delicious food from the region.
