SKIAREA PENKEN, HORBERG AND MÖSL

Penken ski area is easily accessible with the Penkenbahn from Mayrhofen, the Horbergbahn from Schwendau and the Möslbahn at Hochschwendberg. Once at the top, the more daring can sample the delights of speed skiing down the legendary Harakiri - Austria’s steepest slope experience - with an eye-watering gradient of 78%. Those who doubt whether they are up to the challenge can sample the delights of the DevilsRun. The BlackAttack’s racy name says it all and a camera even measures and records your personal best time along the SkiMovie Run.

Snowboarders and freeskiers alike rave about the PenkenPark on Mount Penken in Mayrhofen. The five permanent, perfectly prepared jumps and obstacles along with the amazing crowds have given the park a reputation that it easily lives up to. The Pro Area, Advanced Area, Medium Area, MediumJib Area and KidsPark promise riders of every age and skill level a fantastic time on the mountain.

The BAGJUMP®offers riders of all skill levels a perfect way to practice their tricks with the welcome benefit of a soft landing.

SKIAREA AHORN

You will find everything you need for a successful day filled with all that and more in the Ahorn ski area. Where Austria’s largest cable car, the Ahornbahn whisks snow-lovers straight up to the deeply snow-covered and sunny AhornPlateau with its easy, wide blue and red slopes as well as child-friendly lifts. You can chill out at the WhiteLounge SnowBar, where comfortable deck chairs, delicious drinks and lounge music invite you to daydream.

WINTERHIKINGPATH PENKEN

If you need a break from skiing, check out the WinterHikingPath Penken! It starts at the Kombibahn mountain station and leads to the Granatalm at Penkenjoch and back again. This leisurely walk offers spectacular views over the surrounding mountains. Finally, when you stop off at the Gschösswandhaus, you can not only enjoy coffee and cake, also the unique view. / Duration: 1 hour

WINTERHIKINGPATH AHORN

The winter walk on Mount Ahorn in Mayrhofen offers fantastic views over the Zillertal Alps and the Stilluptal Valley. The looped path starts at the Ahornbahn mountain station and leads past the Zillertal ViewingPlatform. At the WhiteLounge SnowBar you can enjoy cool drinks and chilled lounge music. Afterwords your will pass the 8SB valley station right towards the FalknerOase, where the Birds of Prey of the Eagles Stage Ahorn have their winter home. Then continue down to the 8SB Ahorn valley station again. The ride with the chairlift is included in the pedestrian lift ticket!

At the end of the Round, a delicious hot drink awaits you either at the WhiteLounge SnowBar or at the Cafè-Bistro Freiraum directly at the Mountain Station of the Ahornbahn. / Duration: 1 Hour
